Solar that does not need the grid
An Off-Grid system uses panels, a charge controller, a battery bank and an off-grid inverter. Panels charge the battery in the day, and the battery runs your load day and night. It is fully independent of the grid.
Because it has batteries, it costs more than On-Grid and the batteries need replacing every few years. It is made for places where there is no grid, or the grid is not reliable.
